The Sira Armchair is shaped like a shell: the tall back and the outward-opening arms form a single piece that wraps around whoever sits in it. On the back, stitching marks out padded squares, and the seat has its own well-filled cushion.
Underneath, a sled base in slim black metal tube keeps the chair visually light and tilts it slightly back into a relaxed position. The oatmeal fabric, with a mélange texture, softens the whole piece and recalls natural materials.
It is an armchair with character, as good for reading by the window as for completing a living room or bedroom. It looks good with metal side tables, wool rugs and pale ceramics.
The black tubular base echoes the Elliot Sofa and the Elliot Pouf, which share the same type of metal frame: a good match for a contemporary living room.
