The Barein Sofa is recognisable from across the room: on the front of each arm, a dark vertical metal profile runs from top to floor and doubles as a leg. Its contrast with the pale fabric gives the sofa a graphic, almost architectural look, like the frame of a picture.
The rest of the design is calm. The arms are square and firm, the high back gains a headrest at the top and the generous seats easily welcome a whole family in the evening.
The cream fabric brightens the room and goes well with wooden bookcases, solid coffee tables and textured walls, for a serene atmosphere. Grey or linen-coloured cushions are all it needs.
Choose a straight three-seater or add a chaise longue. In ecru on a black tubular metal base, the Elliot Pouf repeats the dialogue between pale fabric and dark metal.
