Corvo Extending Round Dining Table
Ref. CORMSJ30
The sizes and finishes shown are those of the catalogue example: we make every piece to measure, in the size, materials and colours you choose.
The base of this table is a cone: wide at the floor and narrow beneath the top, in the same wood as the top, with fine vertical joints. With no legs at the corners, chairs spread evenly around it and everyone sits at the same distance from the centre.
Closed, it is round; open, it becomes oval. The two halves of the top slide apart on metal runners and the leaf drops into the middle in one simple movement, whenever more people come for Sunday lunch. The edge tapers underneath in a soft profile that echoes the curve of the base.
It is available in two versions: all in oak, light and welcoming, or lacquered in white with a marble-effect top, brighter still. In the Corvo Dining Room 05, the oak version is surrounded by chairs upholstered in a pale fabric, with the wall-hung unit with an arched frame on the wall; in the Corvo Living Room 01, the white one serves the dining area.
The size of the top, the wood and the lacquer colour are settled with you, so the table fits both your room and the rhythm of your home.
