A console and a mirror designed for the same wall: the Dune DU.17 Console with Mirror furnishes the entrance without taking up any floor space. The console is wall-mounted and has two smooth-fronted drawers with no visible handles, rounded ends and sides that rise slightly above the top, like a small lip.
It is white, and in the centre, between the two drawers, a dark fluted strip of vertical slats gives the front its rhythm. Above it, the rectangular mirror echoes the idea: an identical fluted strip divides it into two halves, lined up with the one on the console. The white, the dark fluting and the reflection of the glass make a calm, balanced pairing.
The top holds the essentials for coming and going, such as keys, a lamp or a reed diffuser, while the drawers keep out of sight what should not be left lying around: letters, chargers, sunglasses. Being wall-mounted, it leaves the floor free for a rug and makes the entrance easier to clean. It also works well in a corridor or at the entrance to the living room.
The console and the mirror are made to measure for your wall: longer for a wide hallway, shorter for a narrow entrance, and in finishes other than white.
