Gaudi Sofa
The Gaudi Sofa draws a curve: a long, low, kidney-shaped body in which the seat stretches out like a soft platform and the backrest, a wide, low roll, follows the curvature without closing it off, leaving one end free.
The velvet is dark grey, crushed in appearance, with a sheen that shifts with the light, and underneath runs a recessed base in polished stainless steel that makes the sofa seem to rest on the rug weightlessly. The rounded edges and the fine stitching around the seat reinforce the continuous design.
It is a sofa for rooms where the sofa should be the main piece: with no arms and no corners, it asks for space around it. Together with the Dali Armchair, equally rounded and velvety to the touch, it makes a soft, coherent group.
The length is adjusted to the room, and the velvet, the colour and the finish of the base are chosen with us before the piece is made.
