Laggi Floating Bedside Table
A slim box in dark smoked eucalyptus, without legs, with a single plain-fronted drawer that keeps the essentials within reach of the sleeper without taking up floor space.
The wood adds a warm contrast to the light fabric of the bed, and the floating design stresses the lightness and flow of the bedroom. It is fixed to the side of the headboard of the suspended bed, one on each side, at just the right height for a lamp and a couple of books.
The top takes the light of the lamp and the objects of each night and, having no legs, it lets the floor be cleaned without obstacles. It goes with the high-gloss chest of drawers, which completes the bedroom.
It is a simple, balanced piece in which the quality of the material and the restraint of the form come together to lift the bedroom, without ever calling attention to itself.
