The Vertex Gold VG.28 Coffee Tables come as a trio, and none of them is an ordinary rectangle: the tops have four irregular sides and rounded corners, so they can be grouped in many ways, side by side, staggered or further apart. Each table rests on slim black metal legs crossed in an X, which give it a light, almost sketched look.
The three colours work together: dark blue adds depth, cream softens and the oak tone brings the warmth of wood. Together they create a splash of colour in the middle of the room; apart, any one of them can serve as a side table next to a sofa or an armchair.
Because the frames are slim and leave the floor visible, the trio never feels heavy, whether on a dark rug or a pale wooden floor.
