Daris Chest of Drawers
The Daris Chest of Drawers is low and wide, with three generous cream lacquered drawers without handles and with rounded corners. Down the middle of the front, fine fluting surrounds a narrow walnut strip that runs through all three drawers.
The top is thin, in glossy walnut with rounded corners, and reflects whatever sits on it: a large vase, a few books, a small lamp. It stands on a recessed plinth, with no legs on show. With no handles, the front is unbroken, and the three wide drawers take bed linen, jumpers and accessories.
It is the storage piece of the master bedroom and sits well below the round Daris Mirror on the wall, next to an armchair. It goes with the Daris Bed and the Daris Bed with Wide Headboard, whose walnut bands it echoes.
It is made to fit the bedroom, and the lacquer and the wood are chosen with us.
