Dune DU.16 Bookcase

The Dune DU.16 Bookcase is a freestanding piece with a simple, upright design: a taupe frame and four levels of open shelves, all lifted off the floor by slim angled legs, also dark. The sides and top frame the shelves like a surround, and the legs take away any sense of weight.
Taupe, a brownish grey, is discreet and warm, and lets book spines and pale objects stand out. With no doors or drawers, everything stays in view and within reach.
It is a light piece that sits as easily in the living room, beside a reading armchair, as in a study, holding books, files and objects. On its own it fills a bare wall nicely; as a pair, one on each side of a window, it creates a symmetrical frame.
Colour, width and height are decided with us, to suit the wall you have free, and the bookcase is made to order. If you are nearby, drop in at our shop in Pombal and we can talk it over.
