The Dune DU.10 TV Unit is symmetrical and arranged in three parts. At the ends there is a door on each side; in the centre, one drawer sits above and another below an open niche, divided down the middle, with room for a set-top box, a games console or a player. The fronts are plain, with no visible handles, and the rounded sides soften the lines of a long, low piece.
Sand colour covers the doors and drawers, while the walnut tone appears inside the niche, on the top and on the angled legs that hold the unit clear of the floor. These two calm tones warm up a grey wall without weighing it down.
With the screen hung above, the top stays free for a vase or a lamp, while the drawers take the remotes, the cables and the games. Being long, it needs a generous wall and works well in a living room that opens onto the dining area. Like other pieces in the Dune collection, it has curved sides and angled legs.
The length, the height and the colours are settled with you: the DU.10 is built to order and sized to the wall it is meant for, and the sand and walnut can give way to other finishes.
