The Vertex Gold VG.03 Dining Table stands on two broad, trapezoid-shaped legs, narrow under the top and wider at the floor. Each leg is faceted, with crisp folds, and set at a slight angle, which gives the base an almost architectural design. Above them, the long rectangular top ends in a bevelled edge, cut back beneath the upper rim.
The walnut tone of the top, warm and with a visible grain, contrasts with the dark grey of the legs. On one face, the legs repeat the walnut tone, so the wood seems to run down from the top to the floor.
In the Vertex Gold VG.03 Dining Room, beside a large window looking onto the garden, the table keeps company with the Vertex Gold VG.03 Cabinet, a tall piece with a white frame and doors in the same walnut tone, plus an open niche at the top. Long and welcoming, it is the table for Sunday lunches and evenings with friends.
