Kurt Sofa
The Kurt Sofa draws a long, low curve in two modules that meet in the middle. The seat is deep, and the faceted back rises into a wing at each end, as if to wrap around whoever sits at the extremities.
Teal velvet covers the whole piece, and a light piping picks out the edges of the back and the seat. Six loose cushions in two shades of blue, one deeper and one paler, break up the length of the sofa. The slim black legs, set slightly apart, leave it hovering above the floor.
It is a sofa for a generous room, where the curve has space to breathe. In front of it, a low round table such as the Judy Coffee Table, in mustard yellow, brings a lively contrast to the blue.
It belongs to The Art of Seating collection and is made to measure: the length of the curve starts from the reference dimensions and is adjusted to your room, and the velvet can take another colour.
