A single piece of oak, tall and with rounded upper corners, forms the headboard of this bed. It is mounted in front of a wider lacquered panel that extends to each side and runs behind the bedside tables, and concealed lighting glows around its edge, setting the wood apart from the background. The base is a lacquered box with softened corners, on a recessed plinth.
The oak is light and natural, with a well-defined grain and a few visible knots. The back panel and the base are lacquered in grey-beige, a pale, understated tone that lets the headboard stand out, leaving the room bright, with the wood as its warmest element.
In Soho Bedroom 03 the Soho bedside tables stand one on each side, in front of the panel, in the same grey-beige and with a central oak strip, the same wood as the headboard. On top there is room for a lamp and whatever you like to keep close at night, and the bed is complete with one of our mattresses.
Bed, headboard and panel are all made to measure, to fit your wall and your mattress. If you would prefer a different wood for the headboard or another shade of lacquer, we choose the finish together, and the bed is made specially for your room.
