The Colline Armchair draws on Japanese aesthetics, which seek simplicity and harmony between materials. A slender wooden frame, with tapered, slightly splayed legs, supports a deep upholstered seat, and the thin armrests run from the back to the front legs. The back is a curved upholstered band, set apart from the seat, which wraps around whoever sits in it.
It is the armchair that runs through the whole collection. In the Colline Entrance Hall it appears in caramel on a light wood frame; in other rooms it is upholstered in grey-green or light bouclé, with the frame in dark wood. The fabric and the wood tone change its character, from understated to cosy.
Low and deep, it calls for a book, a conversation or a rest at the end of the day, alone in a corner or as a pair by a window. It pairs with the Colline Side Table alongside, for coffee or reading glasses, the Colline Sofa with Chaise Longue and the Colline Entrance Console, at the entrance to your home.
