The Colline Chest of Drawers grows in height rather than width, so it fits between a door and a window or into a narrow corner. At the top there is a drawer with a small dark metal handle set vertically; just below, an open niche for books or a bottle of perfume; and underneath, three smooth-fronted drawers with no visible handles. A low raised edge runs around the top.
It is made in a dark brown wood veneer with a fine, straight grain, in a warm tone that contrasts with the greys of the Colline Bedroom. The sides run down to the floor and frame the front, and inside, the drawers are lined in a lighter dove-grey thermolaminate.
The Colline Bedroom has two of them, side by side against the wall. With the Colline Bed and the lacquered two-drawer bedside tables, it makes a bedroom of clean lines, with the wood bringing warmth to the whole. For sitting down to put your shoes on, the Colline Bed Bench stands on the other side of the room.
