Nero Armchair
The Nero armchair is a wing-back: tall side wings that cradle whoever sits down, a padded headrest and rounded, soft arms. The seat is plain and simple, free of fuss. Hands rest naturally on the arms, and the wings give the sitter a sense of retreat.
It is also a recliner. The footrest opens from the front, while the back reclines with a small control on the right arm. Closed, it keeps the classic look of a reading chair; open, it invites you to stretch your legs.
The grey-blue fabric, with its pronounced texture, gives it character and sits well with dark wood, leather or a wool throw. You can picture it in a reading corner, by a window or keeping a fireplace company. On its own, beside a small side table, it already makes a restful corner.
It is made to measure in other fabrics and colours, and the shop in Pombal is the best place to try it open and closed.
