Bowie Armchair
The Bowie Armchair is an upholstered shell: the tall, round back curves down into the arms and wraps around the deep seat, so that whoever sits feels sheltered and held. It has just the right scale for a living room: it takes little floor space and still has the presence of a main piece.
The orange velvet gives it warmth and light, and the armchair rests on short, slanted wooden feet. It also comes in emerald green, and there is a version with a swivel base, for anyone who likes to turn towards the conversation or the window.
In the Bowie Living Room, it stands beside the Bowie Sofa, in orange, which repeats the same curve of the back. On its own, it is a fine piece for a reading corner or to break the line of a straight sofa.
The Bowie is made to measure: the velvet and the base, fixed or swivelling, are decided according to the room it will go in and the way you want to use it.
