The Cosy Bubble 706 TV Unit is long and low, in natural oak veneer, and stands on tapered wooden legs that splay outwards, a design that recalls 1950s and 1960s furniture. On one side it has a wide open compartment and, in the centre, a smaller niche divided by a shelf.
On the other side, a sliding door in dark grey lacquer with a vertical fluted relief glides along the front: it hides whatever you would rather not see, or slides back to reach what is stored. The contrast between the light oak and the fluted grey is the signature detail of this piece.
The open shelves take the router, a games console, books or vinyl records, while the top stays free for the television, a lamp or plants. It looks wonderful in Scandinavian or vintage-style living rooms with natural-fibre rugs. For the same wall, the Cosy Bubble 708 TV Bookcase repeats the oak and dark grey in a tall version.
