Ilhéu Chair
The Ilhéu Chair is a dining armchair with arms, its shell back extending into low arms that embrace whoever sits in it. A padded back cushion fits inside the shell, and the seat is a thin, round band. It stands on four tapered wooden legs.
The upholstery is smooth brown leather with soft reflections, and the legs are black. The join between the leather shell and the back cushion, marked by a seam, is the detail that gives the design its character. At the back the shell divides into two vertical panels, which makes it good to look at even when the chair is pulled away from the table.
It also comes in dusty pink fabric, with black legs, and in leather with pale natural wood legs: three versions that change the look of the chair completely, from the most sober to the most luminous.
Around a dining table, the arms invite you to stay a little longer in conversation. It goes with wooden or light-coloured tops. Come and try the seat in our shop in Pombal.
