Paraíba Modular Sofa
The Paraíba Modular Sofa is low and long, made of wide, deep seat modules that join in a line or in a corner. The backs are loose rectangular cushions, the base is set back from the seat and, at one end, a thick arm closes the composition, while at the other a module without a back extends the seat.
The cream bouclé, soft in texture, gives the piece a light, enveloping look, and the recessed base makes the sofa seem to float. Seen from above, you can see how the modules fit together, and from the front the low line lets the space breathe. It also comes in caramel, with vertically channelled arms, warmer and with more character.
In large rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows and an open view, it works as a centrepiece: the low height goes with low coffee tables and pale-fibre rugs. For those who prefer a curved shape, also in white bouclé, there is the Osaka Curved Sofa, which draws an arc instead of a line.
