Hélio Sofa
The Hélio Sofa is a three-seater with deep seats and straight lines. The back has two wide, loose cushions with two smaller cushions in front, and the arms are thick and square, with vertical grooves on the outside. The frame rests on slim black metal legs, angled outwards.
The flecked grey tweed has a visible weave, with light and dark threads blended, and gives the piece a tactile yet discreet character. The black legs contrast with the fabric and leave the floor visible under the sofa, which makes it lighter than its volume suggests. From a three-quarter angle you can see the groove of the arm above one of the legs.
It is at ease in a spacious, bright room, beside a round coffee table and a natural-fibre rug. Together with the chaise version of the same model, the Hélio Sofa with Chaise Longue, it makes a two-piece set in the same grey.
