Rio Sofa with Chaise Longue
The Rio Sofa with Chaise Longue has a slender frame, thick square arms and a chaise longue at the right end. The back has wide, loose cushions with an angled cushion at each end of the back, and everything rests on slim, round legs in black metal.
The fabric is a light cream of fine weave, which reflects the light of the room and gives the piece a serene look. The slender black legs contrast with the soft colour and leave the floor in view, which lightens the volume of the chaise. Up close, the angled cushion resting on the arm above a thin leg is the most carefully considered detail of the design.
In a room with light curtains, a round coffee table and an armchair of soft shape, the cream creates a bright, calm atmosphere. The chaise takes the corner without closing off the room.
