Alagoas Bed
The Alagoas Bed stands out for its headboard: a tall piece made of vertical channels whose sides curve forward like wings and embrace the bed. Beneath it, a deep, rounded base upholstered in the same fabric carries on the soft shape of the headboard.
The bouclé is white and soft in texture, and it contrasts with the quilted cover in a greyish brown with which the bed is shown made up. The channels create a play of light and shadow along the headboard, and the base, with no sharp corners, gives it a calm volume, almost like a sculpture.
In a bedroom with plain walls and natural materials such as concrete, brick or pale wood, the headboard becomes the centrepiece and needs no further decoration on the wall. Two simple bedside tables and a throw at the foot complete the picture without taking away its starring role.
You can see the bouclé of the headboard in person in our shop in Pombal.
