Colline 4-Door Sideboard

The Colline 4-Door Sideboard is the simplest, most pared-back of the collection’s sideboards. The front is divided into four flush doors with no visible handles, and the ceramic top is inset in a wooden frame with a raised rim. A golden trim edges the top, and the slender metal legs are set slightly in from the ends, so the cabinet seems to hover above the floor.
Wood, lacquered metal and ceramic are balanced without excess. In the Sottile Dining Room it comes in a dark veneer with a marked grain and bronze-coloured legs; there is also a warm brown wood version with black legs, and another in light lacquer. Behind the doors, the interior is in dove-grey thermolaminate, and it can include an inner drawer with dividers for cutlery.
With no glass or drawers on show, it is the calmest sideboard in the collection: it keeps everything behind closed doors and lets the wall breathe. It looks good with the Sottile Extending Dining Table and the Colline Dining Chair, dressed in browns and whites.
