The Galia GAL.09 Cabinet is a tall, upright piece whose front is fluted all over and divided into four doors: two above and two below. The sides are plain, and the rounded edges soften its volume, which is raised off the floor on angled bronze metal legs.
The light natural wood tone and the bronze legs make a warm, bright combination. When the light comes in from the side, the vertical grooves of the doors take on shadow and depth, and the cabinet seems to change through the day.
It gives presence to a wall in the living or dining room and, with the doors closed, keeps crockery, linen, games or papers out of sight. It goes well with the Galia coffee tables, one with a top in the same wood tone and the other round and white, both also on bronze metal, and with the collection’s TV units, which share the same fluting.
