Alan Sofa
The Alan Sofa has two deep seat modules flanked by tall, square arms. At the back, two loose cushions lean on cylindrical bolsters, and the whole piece stands on short black feet. It is a sofa of simple volumes with a relaxed air.
The chenille is a warm greyish brown with a thick weave and a soft touch. On the outside, each arm carries a stitched panel that looks like a pocket, a detail repeated on the back, where two stitched panels and two bolsters shape the rear of the sofa. That is why it sits well in an open space, where it is seen from every side.
With just two modules, it is a good choice for a medium-sized room, where it creates a conversation or reading corner beside a window or a bookcase. Anyone with more space may prefer the Alan Corner Sofa, which stretches the same idea into an L-shaped composition with a low platform.
