Alagoas Sofa with Chaise Longue
The Alagoas Sofa with Chaise Longue stretches the Alagoas shell into a long piece that ends on the left in a wide, rounded chaise. The back is continuous, in vertical channels, and follows the seat from end to end without a break.
The bouclé is a soft creamy white, with the deep, round base in the same fabric and four short black feet almost hidden underneath. Ochre cushions rest on the seat and against the channels of the back, and the warm colour stands out from the cream as in a styled living room.
The chaise invites you to lie to one side and stretch out, and the rounded corners give the whole piece a soft presence with no hard edges. It works in a generous room, facing the window or dividing the space, and the shorter version, the Alagoas Sofa, has the same shell with two arms. For a smaller corner of the room, the Alagoas Armchair repeats the ochre.
