Alagoas Armchair
The Alagoas Armchair is low and rounded, like a small shell. The back, made of three vertical channels, wraps around whoever sits in it, and a thin band follows its edge. The seat is a thick, round cushion resting on a deep base that stands on a round black plinth, almost invisible.
Ochre bouclé, soft in texture and warm in tone, covers it from end to end. From the front the band that outlines the shell of the back stands out; from the side and the rear the smooth outer shell has only a single vertical seam to mark the shape, and from above you can see the round design of the whole.
It is the natural companion of the Alagoas Sofa and the Alagoas Sofa with Chaise Longue, with which it shares colour and form: the vertical channels repeat, in miniature, the design of the sofa’s back. On its own, in a corner by the window with a rug and a plant, it is enough to bring colour to a neutral space.
