Agnes Armchair
The Agnes Armchair is a compact piece with a deep, tub-shaped shell: the sides and the back flare slightly outwards, which gives it a generous air despite its modest size. The seat is a thick square cushion that sits snugly inside the shell.
The upholstery is a light grey woven fabric, soft to the eye, and it contrasts with the frame: four slim, tapered legs in black wood, joined at the sides by a stretcher that reinforces the design. From the front the armchair reads as a soft block on a slender, dark base; from the side and the back the shell keeps the same clean line, and from above you can see the square shape of the seat.
It fits into a reading corner, beside a window or next to a sofa, where it serves as an extra seat without crowding the room. The light grey goes well with sofas in neutral tones, such as the Hélio Sofa, and the black legs echo those of many pieces in the range.
