Belém Armchair
The Belém Armchair is compact and rounded: a shell with a round back wraps around the seat and comes down to a low, round, black base. A loose back cushion, also round, rests inside, and the seat is deep. The result is a small, soft piece with no hard edges in sight.
The light grey bouclé has a soft texture of tiny loops that sets off the curved shapes. At the back, a vertical seam closes the shell and a small black pull interrupts the surface, a discreet detail you find when the armchair stands in the middle of the room. From the side, the curve of the shell draws one continuous line.
Thanks to its size and colour, it fits into a bedroom, a corner of the living room or beside a bed, where it serves as a reading seat. It goes with pale sofas and natural wood, and keeps good company with other soft-shaped pieces such as the Osaka Armchair.
